We have been so busy since returning to College Station. Justin has been busy with one interview after another. We are still up in the air on what will happen in December. We are just waiting for the right opportunity to present itself. Here is what we have been doing for the last 3 months:

Colorado Update

Mallory wanted to share with you our latest adventures. We had the opportunity to go back to Vail last weekend for a softball tournament. Mallory kept saying she wanted to ride the gondola and play in the fountain. Here are pictures from our trip.

Then on Tuesday, we went and watched the Colorado Rockies play the LA Dodgers. Mallory did so well and lasted until Mommy and Daddy wanted to go home. She had a blast!

Okay, so the last thing we have done is this weekend we went with Annette and Russell to Breckenridge. We had so much fun. Mallory went on her first hike, and I can say even though it was rated as moderate, it took us over 3 hours to hike up 800 feet (elevation change) and 2.6 miles. It was well worth it for the beautiful views, the pictures just don't do it justice.

Sorry, forgot to include these pictures of Rocky Mountain National Park from our trip this weekend. We just spent the day driving, and started at Estes Park on the East side of RMNP and drove to the other side to Grand Lake. On our way home we went through Winter Park, and just enjoyed the sites.

The last 2 weeks here in Denver have been busy. Last weekend Mallory, Justin and I decided to see what Vail was like during the summer. Okay, so we are ready to move there right away. We loved it! The weather was great and the sites were beautiful. Justin and I are already planning our trip for December, we can't wait to go snow skiing. I have never been, and Mallory will be a perfect age to get started. Here are a few pictures:

Denver Update

So we have been pretty busy the last week. We have gone to the zoo, spent the day in Boulder, tried to see dad play softball (it rained, like it has every night for the last week), went to gymnastics, and storytime. Mallory and I have been able to relax while dad is at work, when we are not busy at the park or reading stories. Here are a few pictures of our adventures!

First Week in Denver

We have really enjoyed our first week in Denver. It has been cold, in fact today's high was only 68. Thank goodness mom brought me some warm clothes.

Our trip down here was fun, MiMi and Uncle Clayton took the long drive with Mom and I. I don't want to do that for awhile.

MiMi, Uncle Clayton, Mommy and I went to the Downtown Aquarium. It was great to see all the fish, I was a little scared of all the big fish, they were really close. Uncle Clayton, Daddy, and Mommy went that night to Elight Gardens (just like Six Flags) and had a blast.

I had a blast in Dallas this weekend. I swam with Mommy, Daddy, Aunt Amanda, and Uncle Clayton. I love the water, and can't wait to swim again.

This weekend I went with MiMi, PaPa, Uncle Clayton and Mommy to see Uncle Clayton's new school. I watched my movie most of the time, but did see where the football team plays, and where Clayton may be living next year. It was really small!

We also got to go eat ice cream at the Blue Bell Factory. As you can see I was able to sit on the cow, and help pull her along.

Can you believe that school is almost out? Summer is just around the corner and we have officially found out that we will be in Denver for the summer!

Mallory has alreay learned that they have a zoo there, and she can see lions. Also, she thinks there will be snow still on the ground, because all you talks about is touching the snow. Well maybe we can find a little bit.

I know, I know! It has been a long, long time since I have posted. Sorry! Well we have been busy, with Thanksgiving (AGGIES vs TU - WHOOP!!!),

Mallory's 2nd Birthday,

Valentine's Day, and Easter (I have a lot more pictures, but that would be all you would be looking at). You know how time flies. She has been doing so well at school. She is saying her ABCs, missing a few letters in the middle, but she is getting better everyday.

Justin is getting ready for midterms next week. He has also accepted an internship with Pepsi Bottling Group. He will be flying to Denver soon and meeting with VP of Finance (I think!) and then will find out if we will be spending our summer in Denver or Mesquite. So, right now we are just waiting to see what type of summer vacation Mallory and I will be having.

Halloween 2007

Halloween this year was a blast! Mallory could actually say trick-or-treat, and her favorite word right now is pumpkin.

For school, Mallory dressed up as an Aggie cheerleader. She was so cute. As you can see in the picture (sorry won't post, will get it up on the site soon), the only way for me to get her picture was to ask her to make a funny face. Before, everytime I tried and asked her to smile, she just turned her back. A stinker already, what can I say.

She turned out to be a very cute lioness. We had a short trick-or-treat experience, she was more interested in walking by the stores in the mall (that is safer then taking her to some street in town with all college students), then actually stopping in an asking for candy. Oh well!

October Events

It has been a busy few months. Mallory has been sick, and I would like to say finally over her sickness, but not yet. She still has a cough and runny nose. Hopefully, by the weekend she will be feeling better.

This past weekend, Mallory and I went home and had a nice relaxing weekend. I took Mallory to the football game, and her first reaction was, "Go Aggies!" Well, the team was maroon and white, so it was close :) We are really brain washing her here.

Saturday, Kyla and I took the girls to the pumpkin patch. They were able to feed the goats, and just run around. They both had a blast and were worn out. Mallory loved playing with Tatum!

Justin has finals all this week, so he has been busy studying for his 4 tests. How I am glad it is him, not me. So exciting news ~ he did get a call from the Director at the Career Center today. I guess Kellogg has a summer internship that is very prestigious and A&M has been trying for several years to get them here to interview. Well, they have finally figured out what they had been missing and will be on campus next month to interview. The career center had only 5 spots for interviews and someone thought Justin would be a good candidate. So he was really excited, but product marketing just isn't something he is interested, so he turned it down. Was he crazy or what? Well, I guess this does give someone else the opportunity, that would be interested. I am so proud of how hard he is working and he has really enjoyed it.

Well, we have made it several weeks now. Justin and I have gone back to school. Justin started orientation on August 6th and I began working full time on the 8th. Mallory had a little trouble adjusting to "School" but by Thursday she was showing mom the way to her new class. She began to settle in, as soon as she was able to take her baby to school. She is such a little girl.

Here is a picture of Mallory. Again, I know I say it often, but she is growing so fast. Hope everyone is doing well, and I would say we will be back to visit soon, but it doesn't look like it. Starting Labor day weekend, we have 3 football games in a row, so you know we can't leave then. Gig'em Aggies!

Welcome!

Welcome! We are all excited to begin a new chapter in our lives, as we venture to Aggieland. We needed an easy way for everyone (really Grandparents) to keep updated on what Mallory is doing these days.

Justin and I are amazed at how fast her little life is flying by. She is already 18 months old, and it seems like she says a new word everyday. Just like today we are on our way home from Clovis, and she points out the window and say, "Plane". What? She has never said that before, but saw a plane flying over DFW and wanted us to know. Mallory has shown that she is definitely a little girl. She can't go anywhere without her babies. It starts early.

Well, we hope we can stay in touch with a little note here and there on what's going on here in Aggieland. Please remember you are all welcome anytime!
